Verify your download
Every official Vitals file is published by Byzantine Technologies LLC. Confirm your download is a genuine, unaltered release by comparing its SHA-256 hash to the official values below.
How to check a file
Compute the SHA-256 of the file you downloaded, then compare it to the matching value in the tables below. If they match exactly, the file is the authentic, byte-for-byte official release.
Get-FileHash .\your-file.zip -Algorithm SHA256
shasum -a 256 ./your-file.zip
Compare the result to the package hash for your edition. Capitalization doesn't matter; the characters must otherwise match exactly.
Official package hashes
These are the SHA-256 hashes of each complete edition download (the .zip package as delivered).

A note on editing your workbook
The Vitals workbook is built for your own inputs. Editing the yellow cells and saving your personal copy will change the file's hash — that's expected, and it does not mean the file is unsafe. It simply means your copy is no longer the byte-for-byte original release.
If you want to re-verify later, keep an unedited copy of the original download. Questions about authenticity? Email support@fairhope.io.
